What Sold & Collected does
Sold & Collected provides a single enquiry route for people and businesses looking to sell a caravan, motorhome, commercial vehicle or item of used plant directly. We consider the asset, condition, paperwork, location and collection requirements together.
Our website is a buying enquiry service, not a public advertising marketplace. Read the buying process or compare a direct sale with private advertising and auction before choosing a route.
A valuation with clear assumptions
Start with the make, model, condition and postcode. We review the information and may ask for photographs or further details. An initial assessment can be provisional: inspection, previously unknown faults, ownership evidence and collection requirements may affect the final offer.
Accurate descriptions and current photographs help reduce surprises. See what affects a valuation and which photographs help.
What sellers can expect
- A free initial enquiry with no obligation to accept an offer.
- No seller's fee for an agreed purchase.
- Questions relevant to the vehicle or machine being sold.
- Ownership, identity and finance checks where appropriate before purchase.
- Payment, collection responsibilities and any applicable costs agreed before handover.
A free valuation is separate from transport or external site costs. Static caravan park charges, disconnection or specialist recovery requirements need discussing as part of the proposed sale. Ask what is included before accepting an offer.
Nationwide, with practical limits
We consider enquiries from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Whether collection is practical depends on the asset, value, distance, access, condition and transport needed. Explain narrow gates, soft ground, site restrictions or a vehicle that cannot move under its own power.
Our collection coverage page and seller checklist help you prepare the important details.
Contact and keeping a clear record
Email hello@soldandcollected.co.uk or use the valuation enquiry form. Enquiries are handled seven days a week. If you send photos after an enquiry, use the same name and asset details so the messages can be matched.
Before handing over an asset, confirm the buyer's details, agreed price and responsibilities in writing, and check the payment as agreed. Read our safe selling guide for practical checks.
How enquiry information is used
