What condition is considered?

We consider touring and static caravans across a wide range of ages and conditions. That can include water ingress, soft wall or floor areas, damaged panels, broken windows, tired interiors, missing appliances, long-term storage and caravans that need recovery rather than ordinary towing.

Considered does not mean every caravan will receive an offer. Suitability depends on the make, model, extent of damage, location, ownership evidence, access and cost of safe collection.

Describe the damage clearly

• Where damp or staining is visible and how long it has been known.
• Whether floors, wallboards or roof areas feel soft.
• External body, window, chassis, hitch, tyre or axle damage.
• Missing appliances, keys, cushions, doors or fittings.
• Whether the caravan is currently towable and roadworthy.
• Any professional damp report, service record or previous repair.

Photographs that help

Start with each exterior side, front, rear, hitch and tyres. Then photograph the entrance, main living space, kitchen, washroom, sleeping areas and any damp, damage or missing items. Good daylight and a steady, wide view are more useful than filters or close-ups without context.

Paperwork and ownership

A buyer must be satisfied that you have the legal right to sell. Provide the CRiS registration or number where applicable, purchase documents, identification, keys and any finance or insurance information. If the caravan belonged to someone else, explain your authority to sell it.

Collection and access

Tell us about narrow lanes, soft ground, seized brakes, flat tyres, locked sites, height restrictions and whether another vehicle can reach the caravan. A non-towable caravan may need recovery equipment and suitable loading space.
